Point hooks (also known as single hooks) are supplied under the specification DIN 15401.
Overview:
It is a single hook design which is forged from high quality steel and is used specifically with suspended loads.
It is used in a wide variety of lifting applications ranging from small rigging blocks and hoists to lifting beams and large cranes. Due to the hooks durability and versatility our hooks are used extensively in the shipping industry.
Lifting & Marine Services supplies a wide range of Point Hooks up to 4800 Kg in weight. Safety catches can be supplied as an optional extra and the shank length can be forged to your individual specification. As with the majority of our hooks, the size and profile of the unit has a direct correlation with the safe working load and drive group of the crane itself.
We can also machine your hooks to your exact requirements and manufacture the full assemblies complete with nut and collar.
Our Point Hook range is supplied to DIN 15401.
Note that all LMS hooks can be supplied with proof load test certificates and material certification to 3.1 and 3.2 levels of traceability.
